THE ACADEMY

Our online academy is easily accessible via desktop or app. Here you will find almost 200 courses on a range of SEND needs. From courses on individual profiles such as Autism, ADHD, PDA, Dyspraxia and Selective Mutism to courses which explain the process on how to apply for an EHCP, what reasonable adjustments can be made to meet need and how to support families.
Course length differs with the average being around two hours in length. On completion of each, a CPD certificate can be provided.
The breadth of information within the Academy means this isn’t just something you will visit once. Through every new challenge that you face, you’ll be able to come onto the Academy and find the education and training you need to face it. And we are always growing with new resources added every single month.

Online Live Training

We run six live online webinars each year on a variety of important topics which we know will benefit you. Tickets for these online live webinars are available for each individual session so you can choose which topics most resonate with you. You do not have to be a subscriber to join these individual webinars.

15 May 2025 - Moving Beyond Challenging Behaviour

26 June 2025 - How to Secure Funding Through an EHCP
All our online live webinars are between 2pm – 4pm as we are conscious that this should form part of your working day rather than eat into your personal time.

In-person training

Three times a year we hold in-person training sessions at our premises in Derby.

Our next in-person training is on Thursday 24 April and will focus on 'Creating Communication Friendly Classrooms for All'.

This training session will be led by Gabby Gregory, a highly experienced speech and language specialist teacher.

Online Academy

An individual licence to access our online learning platform, housing over 200 courses. Fees are payable monthly. Package deals for schools are available, contact for more detail.
